Edward E. Squire, 70 a descendant of one of the first settlers in the town of Fabius passed away at his home October 25 after a long illness. The son of Warren and Sarah Millington Squire, he had resided on his present farm for the past 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Jessie McEvers Squire, two sons, Clark M. of Lafayette and Norman E. of Tully, two daughters Mrs. James Reitano of Tully and Mrs. Lyndon S. Scammel of Lafayette; four grandchildren Philip and Keane Reitano of Tully and Barry E. and Gregory J. Scammel, Lafayette; two brothers Jesse Squire, Tully; four sisters, Miss Carrie Squire, Apulia Station; Mrs Nellie Dodge of Syracuse; Mrs Betsy Compton, Portland, Ore; Mrs John Blaney, Apulia Station; several nieces and nephews.
A good neighbor, a kind father and husband, the many flowers and large gathering of friends testified to the good life Edward Squire had lived. Funeral services were held from Hall funeral home with internment in Tully Cemetery, Rev. Roy Wood officiated."

SQUIRE. 80, of Markham Road, Tully, died yesterday in Brooks Nursing Home, Syracuse, after a long illness. A native of Fabius, she was the widow of Edward Squire. She lived in Tully more than 65 years. She is survived by two sons, Clark M. of Jamesville and Norman E. Squire of Tully; two daughters, Mrs. Arlene G. Reitano of Tully, and Mrs. Lyndon S. Scammell of Lafayette: two sisters, Miss Clara E. McEvers of Tully and Mrs. John Whelan of Greenwich, Conn, and four grandchildren. Services will be 2 pm Monday at Hall Funeral Home, Lafayette, The Rev. Davis Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Tully Cemetery. Friends may' call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at 6033 Cherry Valley Road, Lafayette."
