Norman E. Squire, 63, of Markham Hollow Road, Tully died suddenly August 14 at his home.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Ketcham, pastor of the Tully United community church officiating. Burial was in the Tully cemetery. Serving as bearers were Harry Baker, Donald Brown, Barry Ellis, Sherman Miller, Barry Scammell, Philip Reitano.
Mr Squire was born Sept. 17, 1910, in the Town of Fabius, the son of Edward E. Squire and Jessie McEvers Squire and lived in the area all of his life. He was a graduate of Tully High School and for many years was a dairy farmer in business with his father. He retired about five years ago from Onondaga County Highway Department.
He is survived by a brother, Clark M. Squire of Jamesville; two sisters, Mrs Arlene G. Reitano of Tully and Mrs. Janice M. Scammell of LaFayette, and several nieces and nephews."
