Rowley, 81, of Tully, died yesterday at Community-General Hospital after a long illness. / Born in Truxton, Mr. Rowley lived in Tully 49 years. He was a retired lineman for Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. / A former constable for the Village of Tully, he was a member of the Tully Methodist Church and Tully Hose Co. / Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Brown Rowley, two sons, George of Duanesburg and John Rowley of Eau Gallie, Fla; two daughters, Miss Johnessia Rowley of Albany and Mrs. Mable Brakefield of Jamesburg, N.J; a sister, Mrs. Mable Dodge of LaFayette, 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. / Services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Hartwell Funeral Home, Tully. Internment will be in Tully Cemetery. / Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home."

A native of Fabius, she resided in Tully most of her life.
She was a member of Tully United Methodist Church. She was formerly employed by the Covey Restaurant and Long's Department Store.
Besides Miss Rowley, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Mabel Brakefield of California, two sons, George of Duanesburg and John Rowley of Ogallie, Fla; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Brown of Apulia, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hartwell Funeral Home, Tully, the Rev. Herman Murdock officiating. Burial will be in Tully Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home."
