Mary Irene Hepler, 69, of Distant, died at her home Tuesday.
Born in Climax, Sept. 14, 1907, she was the daughter of John F. and Blanche Anthony. She married Guy W. Hepler on June 15, 1929. He died May 17, 1949.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Blanche Anthony, New Bethlehem RD 3; children, Mrs. Nelson (Jane) Brocious, Dora; Mrs William (Dorothy) McNaughton, Rimersburg; Merle E. Hepler, New Bethlehem RD 2; Calvin R, New Bethlehem RD 3; Mrs. John (Janet) Eckard, Sharon; Mrs. Carl (Jewel) Bartley, New Bethlehem RD 1, Mrs. Ruben (Twila) Edmonds, Mayport RD 1; Mrs. Gale (Joanne) Greenawalt, Rimersburg, Guy C, New Bethlehem, 40 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, brothers, Raymond H. Anthony, Butler, and Leonard M. Anthony, Rimersberg; sisters, Mrs. Paul (Esther) McSparrin, New Bethlehem RD 3, and Mrs. Woodrow (Nadine) Yeany, Hawthorn. A sister and infant daughter are deceased.
HEPLER - Friends of Mary Irene Hepler will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wayne E. McNaughton Funeral Home, 301 Penn St. New Bethlehem, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Paul Hetrick, retired, and the Rev. Lyle Westover, pastor of Distant Baptist Church. Burial will be at Alcola Cemetery, New Bethlehem. Arrangements by McNaughton."
