Aged Akron Resident Expires Shortly After Being Found Unconscious in Road.
Akron, Jan. 5 -- (Special)-- Hiram P. Hall, a resident of this town for many years, is dead as the result of a fall from his wagon while returning to his home from the village last night. Mr. Hall's son, Professor C. F. Hall, and wife, of River Rouge, Mich, had spent the holidays with his parents and yesterday the father drove to the railroad station with the son, who was to return to his home. Mrs. Hall, the mother, also returned to River Rouge.
After bidding the family good-bye, Mr. Hall, who was 70 years old, started for home. Within a short distance of his residence he fell from the wagon and struck the ground on his head. He was rendered unconscious. A few minutes later he was discovered by neighbors, who saw the driverless team, and investigated. He was removed to the house and died without regaining consciousness.
Arrangement for the funeral have not been completed."

Hiram R. Hall Returning Home From Akron When Accident Happens.
(by special Wire to the Courier.)
Akron, Jan. 4 -- (Special)-- Hiram P. Hall, seventy years old, who resided north of this village, was killed last night as the result of a fall from his wagon.
Mr. Hall had driven to the village with his son Clarence Hall and wife, who were to return to their home at River Rouge, Mich, after spending the holidays with his parents. Mrs. H. P. Hall also returned with them.
Mr. Hall was on his way home when he was jolted from the wagon, striking his head. He died shortly after."

Mrs. Cynthia Hall died at the Baptist Home, Monday, aged eighty-two years. She had been a resident there for the past twelve years, coming from Akron, N.Y. The body was taken to Akron, Tuesday, where the funeral was held the following day. She is survived by a son."
