Akron, May 9 - Mrs. Lottie E. Childs, wife of James G. Childs, died at the family home, last Thursday morning. She had been in feeble health for some time and the shock of her little grandson, Richard Child's tragic death, Sunday evening is believed to have hastened the end, which came at 5 a.m. She was 60 years of age and besides her husband, she leaves six children: Mrs. O. F. Harrington of Akron, Mrs. G. H. Widler of Williamsville, Harry J. Childs, Lottie J. Childs and Allen H. Childs of Buffalo; also her mother, Mrs. C. L. Hall of Fairport, and one sister, Mrs. H. J. Diamond of Buffalo. Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church, Sunday afternoon."
