His sudden Illness(?) and Death at Alexandria - A Widely Known Watertown Traveling Man.
Alexandria Bay, Oct. 27(?) - Charles G. Baldwin of Watertown died at the ___ Saturday about ___ and __ years.
Mr. Baldwin was traveling ___ trip to Alexandria Bay was his first trip since his illness ... Mr. Baldin died of angina pectoris and acute indigestion at 5:30 p.m.
The news of the death of Charles G. Baldwin was received in Watertown at about __ Saturday evening and occasioned much surprise and sincere sorrow. Masonic friends at Alexandra Bay did all they could in his last mom_ and took charge of the remains until the arrival of the son of the deceased, Edwin C. Baldwin. He drove immediately to the Bay, where he arrived about 11 o'clock... the interment will occur at the North Watertown cemetery, the Masonic service being employed at the grave. The deceased was a member of Watertown lodge, Chapter and Commandery F. and A.M. of the Mystic Shrine and of Watertown Council Royal A__.
The deceased was born at Stone Mills, being the son of Edwin Baldwin, now of Brasher Falls. Mr. Baldwin spent his early life on a farm. A large part of his subsequent career was spent traveling with the Times as its traveling representative throughout Northern New York. At the time of his death he was representing a Syracuse cigar firm.
He is survived by his wife and one son, Edwin C. Baldwin, the pharmacist. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Charles Collins of Stone Mills. ..."
