Alvah Knapp 75, died at his home at 701 Taylor Ave, Detroit, Friday after a long illness. He was a former resident of this county, living at Fowlerville. For many years he had resided in Detroit where he was in the stock brokerage business. Surviving are his widow who was formerly Ida Sigler, daughter of the late John Sigler of Pinckney and a brother, Walter, of Brighton.
The funeral was held from the Swarthout Funeral Home at Pinckne, Monday at 2:00 pm, Rev. Berquist officiating. Burial was in the Pinckney Cemetery."
