Jessie Rawley Dudley passed away Jan. 29 after a long illness. Mrs. Dudley was born in Ticonderoga, April 29, 1878, daughter of George and Martha Downs Rawley. The family moved to Crown Point when she was a child and after a few years moved to Bellows falls, Vt. She was united in marriage to Winslow H. Dudley Nov. 10, 1903, and a few years later they moved back to Crown Point where they have made their home since. Mrs. Dudley was a faithful worker in the Methodist church until she was compelled to retire on account of poor health, and had filled such positions as organist, member of the coir and Sunday school teacher. The funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church by the Rev. William Burnett of Warrensburg, assisted by the Rev. Fred Sawyer.... Interment was in Fairview cemetery. Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Gertrude Cook, Chesterfield, N.H; Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Rawley, Glens Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Dudley and son Herbert of Shoreham, VT .... Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Miss Martha Dudley of Crown Point; three brothers, Harry Rawley, Glens Falls; Edson Rawley, Londonderry, Vt, W. D. Rawley, Garnerville, N.Y; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Cook, Chesterfield, N.H. and Mrs. L. W. Taft, Sutton, Mass. also several nieces and nephews."
