"Mr. Richard Dewey died a[t] his home Friday mroning after a lingering illness[.] He was over 70 years of age[.] The funeral was largely attended from the Baptist church Sunday at 3 p m Rev C L Parkhurst officiating[.] Mr. Dewey leaves two daughters Mrs Bristol of this place and Mrs James Cleveland of Castile and one son Mr Dell Dewey of Tonawanda, besides other relatives and a host of friends[.] He was a highly respected citizen of this place."
