"Pike / Glen Lathrop, 72, passed away early Thursday morning at the Warsaw Hospital after having a very serious operation, the week before. His funeral was largely attended at his home on north water street Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. L. A. Mason of Dubkirk, officiating. He was buried in Elmwood cemetery beside his first wife and baby who died in infancy. He leaves to mourn his loss, his second wife, Mate Lathrop and two children by his first wife, Mrs. Iona Wallace of Rochester and Adelbert Lathrop of Castile; five grandchildren, four of them acting as pall bearers. One grandson, Leon Lathrop, is in the army at North Carolina."
