"Mrs. Burt Beldon / Mrs. Leona Belden, widow of the late Burt Belden, died March 8th at the home of her niece, Miss Ethel Russell in Gainesville. She has been ill for two weeks. Born April 27, 1870 in Gainesville, daughter of William and Betsy Knapp Russell she had lived in this town her entire life. Her husband, a farmer, died seven years ago but she is survived by two children, Kenneth Belden, and Mrs. Ray Kellogg both of Buffalo; a sister, Miss Carrie Russell of Gainesville; a brother, Seymour Russell of Castile and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held on Sunday, March 10th at 2:30 p.m. at the home of Miss Ethel Russell, Gainesville with the Rev. Arthur Baldeck officiating. The burial was in Maple Grove cemetery, Gainesville. Mrs .Belden was a member of the Apostolic Church, Gainesville."
