A Native of Bethany Dies After a Brief Illness in Goodland, Ind.
News has been received in Batavia of the death in Goodland, Ind, of the Hon. Thurman C. Annabel, a native of Bethany, a son of Mrs. Russell H. Annabel, a brother of Mrs. Henry O. Bostwick of Batavia and a brother of Mrs. Edgar Pixley of Bethany. Mr. Annabal died yesterday after a brief illness, and he will be buried tomorrow at Logansport, Ind.
Mr. Annabal studied law with the late Rufus Robertson in Batavia and about thirty years ago went to Logansport, where he formed a partnership with Attorney Edwin Walker, also a native of Bethany, who now lives in Chicago and was counsel for the World's Fair Commissioners. When Mr. Walker removed in Chicago Mr. Annabal went to Goodland. Last year he was elected prosecuting attorney for four counties. He leaves a widow and one son, who is also a lawyer."
