Perry, Oct. 2 -- Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, in the Eaton Funeral Home here for Luther R. Watrous, lifelong Perry farmer, who died today (Oct. 2, 1954). He was 85. The Rev. Arthur Guthrie of the Perry center Congregational Church, will officiate, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Death occurred in the Hillsdale Nursing Home, Warsaw, where Mr. Watrous had been for five months.
Born June 20, 1869, on the farm where he had always resided, he was a son of Dwight N. and Sophia Curtis. He never married. Mr. Watrous was a member of the Warsaw Congregational Church.
The only survivor is a sister, Miss Lillian Watrous who lived at home with her brother."
