Ralph E. Shattuck born in Cleveland Ohio on 07/28/1929 passed away 07/28/2010. He attended College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio where he met his future wife Nancy. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After he worked as a salesman for Republic Steel in Michigan; he also was a reserve police officer. He retired from corporate life in 1985 and relocated to Arizona where he worked as a Deputy Sheriff in the posse. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; daughter, Nancy; son Richard (Lisa), and two granddaughters. In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made to The American Lung Association. A visitation will be held on Sunday Aug 1, 2010 4:00-6:00 PM and funeral service on Monday Aug 2, 2010 10:00 AM both to be held at Sunland Memorial Park Mortuary 15826 Del Webb Blvd. in Sun City.

Her legacy will continue through her granddaughters, Isabelle and Francessca. Also surviving is her sister, Mary Bauer; nieces and nephew, John, Cindy and Melissa. Nancy was an avid golfer, bowler and loved to travel. One of her passions in life was to volunteer as a case worker for the Adult Protective Services. She was formally recognized for her dedication and years of advocacy work. Services were held privately. Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary were entrusted with Nancy's care.
