Dolores J. "Dee" DeArmitt, 63, of Oakmont died Saturday (July 10, 2004) in her home.
She was born in Natrona Heights, Harrison, and previously lived in Freeport.
Miss DeArmitt received a bachelor's degree from South West Missouri University and a master's degree from Pennsylvania State University.
She was a teacher at Freeport High School, where she taught honors English.
Miss DeArmitt attended Assembly of God churches.
Survivors include a daughter, M. Pleschette Saghafi of Chicago; two brothers, Francis J. Rowley Jr. of Freeport and John A. Rowley of Aikens, S.C; and four sisters, Patricia A. (Michael) Bryne of York, Charlotte (Robert) Brandon of Butler, Fern L. (Terry) Kelly of Oakmont and Sally M. (Gerry) Aron of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis D. and Myrtle M. Garris Rowley.
Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME INC, Oakmont. Services will be at noon Wednesday in Riverside Community Church, Oakmont. Burial will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
