Skellinger, 67, who died suddenly at his home on the Plains road, New Paltz, Tuesday were held at the University Chapel, 52nd Street and Lexington avenue, New York city on Friday. Mr. Skellinger, a son of the late William DeForest and Florence Skellinger was born in Syracuse. He resided in New York city for some time and came to make his home ion New Paltz about eight years ago. He had been a summer resident here for some years prior to his retirement. He had been an active member of the New Paltz Rod and Gun Club and of the Sportsmen's Pheasant Preserve of this community. Mr. Skellinger is survived by a son, Hibberd Skellinger of Forest Hills, L.I, a brother, Duane of Chittenango, and a grandchild. His wife, Mrs. Blanche Romwley (sic) Skellinger died 10 years ago. Burial took place in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New York."

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Edith Skellinger, 54, of 182-35 Midland parkway, Jamaica Estates, who died yesterday, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at her family home. The Rev. Frederick Morecombe of Christ Congregational Church, Woodhaven, will officiate. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery after the services.
Mrs. Skellinger, a member of the Eastern Star, is survived by her husband, H. Lloyd Skellinger; a son, Hibbred (sic), a granddaughter, Audrey, a sister, Mrs. Walter Knapp, and two brothers, E.H. Rowley of Fabius, N.Y, and C.A. Rowley of Pasadena, Calif."
