Word was received this morning that Emmett O. Preston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. Preston of Apulia ,was killed in action in France on Friday, Sept. 13
Mr. Preston, who was 21 years of age and well known in this city where he has relatives and where he spent some time, enlisted in the Twenty-third infantry in Syracuse in July, 1917. He left Syracuse with the regiment a year ago,
