Grant Douglas May, 30, formerly of Cortland, died Sunday at his home in Easton, Conn, following a long illness. He operated the Greene Electrical Supply Company and had been a resident of Easton for several years.
Mr. May was born in Cortland and graduated from Cortland High School. He left Cortland about 20 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia L. May; a son, Joseph E. May; a daughter, Margaret H. May, all of Easton; his father, Earl May of Vesta; two brothers, William May of South Cortland and Earl May, jr, of Johnson City; and two sisters, Mrs. Randall Nash of Clinton, Tenn, and Mrs. Charles Besley of Cortland.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bishop Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Conn. The body was taken to the Ferncliff Crematory in Ardsley(?) for cremation."
