Surviving Mac is his wife of 61 years, Lee Mantle; his daughter Carol and her husband David Kosulandich of Gouverneur; his daughter Judy Cottrell of Orange, Calif; his son, Les and his wife Noreen Mantle of Garden Grove, Calif; and his beloved six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mac is also survived by a brother, Donald Mantle of Alexandria Bay; his sister Margaret "Peggy" McDonald of Massena; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother Frank.
Mac was born in Harrisville September 1, 1927, the son of Clarence and Agnes (Wight) Mantle.
At the age of 14, Mac received his diploma from Harrisville High School and entered the General Motors Institute for three years.

Mac and his wife relocated to the North Country 13 years ago...."
