Honeoye, April 3 -- Rowley H. Knapp, a hardware merchant of this place, died yesterday morning, aged 76 years. Mr Knapp was the son of Harley and Fannie Knapp and was born in Warsaw, August 7, 1836 (?). He married at Hemlock(?), February 23, 18_9, Miss Martha Short, eldest daughter of Philip Short, Jr. and Nancy Groat Short. Our son was born to them who died when a young lad. Mr. Knapp has been in business in Honeoye nearly fifty years. He was a charter member of Eagle Lodge, No. 612 F. and A.M. He leaves his wife and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the family residence Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock the Rev. Walter Hawthorne officiating. The burial will be in Lake View cemetery."
