Born in Arcade and was the son of Silas and Elmina Nichols Mann, came to Warsaw in 1891 where he went into the dry goods business with his father. Member of the Knights of Pythias, had been a member of Crystal Hose Company and attended the Congregational church for many years. The burial was in the family plot in Warsaw cemetery. Surviving Mr. Mann are his widow, Margaret Knapp Mann whom he married on 4/30/1916, a son, Robert C. Mann and a brother, Dr. Carl C. Mann of Arlington, NJ. ."
