Jerome L. White, aged 60 years, was struck and killed by an automobile at Exchange and Wells streets in Buffalo at 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning. He died from a fracture of the skill while on the way to the Emergency hospital. ...Mr. White was an agent for the C. W. Miller Transfer Company, and was in charge of the New York Central station in Buffalo. He resided at 165 Summit street. He was widely known in Buffalo, as well as Batavia, having been an employee of the Miller Company 35 years, going to Buffalo and returning daily. According to eye witnesses, Mr. White was crossing Exchanged street from the north side and evidently did not see or hear the approaching auto delivery truck. He was struck and thrown to the pavement.
Mr. White is survived by his wide, and a sister who resides in Rochester. His remains were brought to Batavia."

White, died at her home on Washington avenue at an early hour Wednesday morning, following an illness from heart trouble. The deceased had been a resident of Batavia nearly all her life. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. John M. Hamilton; two brothers, Luke L. Hovey of Batavia and Fred L. Hovey of Detroit, Mich. The funeral was held from her late home yesterday afternoon and the burial took place in the Grand View Cemetery."
