Survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith I. Rowley, of the family home; daughter, Mrs. Lois Anne Viner, Bristol, Pa, grandchildren, Michael, Leslie and Debra Viner; brother, Kenneth G. Rowley, Topeka, Kansas; two great-grandchildren; step-children, Mrs. Carol Hart, Scottsdale, Ariz, Warren Allen, Pueblo and Robert Allen, Dallas, Texas; nine step-grandchildren and numerous cousins. Predeceased by his former wife, Mrs. Jennie E. Rowley in 1964. Member of Broadway Christian Church, Silver State Lodge 95, AF&AM and American Legion Post 2, having been a veteran of World War I. He was born July 26, 1896, in Paxico, Kan, and had been a resident of Pueblo for many years, having been employed by the former Nuchols Packing Plant and as a machinist for D &?RG Railroad. He was known to many for his 40 years work in scouting. Services will be announced later. Those who so desire may make memorials to the Broadway Christian Church, direct or through our office.

Edith Rowley of Villa Pueblo Towers has received a citation from President Carter in honor of her late husband Earl F. Rowley. The award lauded Rowley's service in the Army artillery corps during World War I.
Rowley served from Aug. 5, 1917, to May 10, 1919, in various areas of France."
