Eugene Graves, aged 76 years, 9 months and 17 days, died at his farm home on the Martin St. road the 2d inst, following a general breakdown of health. He had lived in the same house for 48 years. Mr. Graves was born in Deer River, the son of Sylvester and Almina Graves. His wife, Cynthia Graves, died 4 years ago. Mr. Graves is survived by 2 sons, O.E. Graves of Harrisville and Claude of West Carthage, one daughter Mrs. C.C. Dobson, West Carthage, 2 half-brothers Fred and Bert Derby (?) of Natural Bridge and 2 half sisters Mrs. Francis Warren of Spring Valley Minn and Mrs. Elizabeth Thayer of West Carthage. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday by Rev. N.E. Fuller. Internment in West Carthage Cemetery.
