Depauville, April 29. James H. Fox, a well known retired farmer of this place and a veteran of the 10th New York Heavy Artillery, died at his home last night, aged 81 years. The funeral will be held from the Methodist Episcopal church Wednesday at 2 p.m, the Masons being in charge. The body will be taken to Watertown where interment will be made in Brookside cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, three brothers, Byron of Depauville and Fred and Charles Fox of Watertown, and four children, James of Brownville, Mrs. Farr of St. Lawrence and Fannie and Lydia Fox of Washington, D.C."
