Bernard A. Rowley, 80, of South St, Apulia Station, a former Fabius Supervisor 12 years, died yesterday at his home. Born in Fabius, he was a chairman of the Board of Assessors of the Town of Fabius and supervisor from 1933 to 1945. He had served as a welfare officer many years. Mr. Rowley was a dairy farmer in the Fabius area, a member of the Fabius Grange and treasurer of Apulia Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Ellis Rowley, a daughter, Mrs. Richard Montague of St. Petersburg, Fla, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the home, of the Rev. Thomas Kline, pastor of the Apulia Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fabius Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hartwell Funeral Home, Tully. Friends may call this evening and tomorrow afternoon and evening at the home. Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Apulia Station."
