Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fairchild-Coffel Chapel, Mound City, Kan; burial in Woodland Cemetery, Mound City. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association. Mr. Cosens was born in Prescott, Kan, and lived near Mound City, Kan, most of his life before moving to Fort Scott in 1986. He was a farmer before he retired. Survivors include his wife, Nina Cosens of the home; a son, Gary Cosens, Excelsior Springs; three daughters, Ann Johnson, Iola, Kan, Nancy Bunn, Nevada, Mo, and Carol Cloud, Fayetteville, Ark; a stepdaughter, Allene Carey, Bella Vista, Ark; 14 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren."
