Mr. Rowley served as mayor of the village and clerk of the Board of Education for many years, was president of the Farmers Mutual Insurance Company and was a member of Tully Lodge No. 896 F. & A. M. She was the oldest living resident of Fabius. She was the widow of Edward Rowley, former mayor of Fabius. She was a member of the Fabius United Methodist Church and King Chapter 554, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are a son, Millard C. of Manchester, Conn; two daughters, Mrs. Lora R. Foote of Fabius and Mr. Cortland Snook of Fayetteville, seven grand children, 21 great and three great-great grandchildren. Private services will be at 2 on Monday at Hall Funeral Home, 6033 Cherry Valley Road, LaFayette. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fabius. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Fabius Methodist Church."
