He was born in Sarver, PA to the late John C. and Frances V. Andrews Llewellyn. Bill was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church of Naugatuck. He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford as the Lead Flight Inspector for the Presidential Helicopter. Bill was a United States Army veteran who held the rank of tech sergeant, and served in Korea. He moved to Connecticut from Pennsylvania 47 years ago. Bill was an avid reader, loved art, enjoyed woodworking, gardening and cooking. His loving family in addition to his wife, Margaret includes his beloved son, David W. B. Llewellyn of Rockville, MD, and Greencastle, PA; his devoted daughters, Mary F. Llewellyn of Seymour, and Susan M. Llewellyn of Chantilly, VA; his beloved brothers, Thomas C. Llewellyn of Pittsburgh, PA, Alvin R. Llewellyn of Kingston, GA, and John T. Llewellyn of Winston-Salem, NC; his dearest sister, Eva Marie Betz Redman of Boca Raton, FL; several loving nieces and nephews and his favorite cat, Lizzie. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Virginia Llewellyn and Karen Betz; and by his brother, Theodore Betz, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Interment, with full military honors."

She was the wife for 50 years of the late William D. "Bill" Llewellyn.
Mrs. Llewellyn was born October 26, 1935, in Pittsburgh, Pa, the daughter of the late Waldo and Mary (Scheckel) Chapman. A graduate of St. Benedict Academy in Pittsburgh, Pa, she was a school health aide at Center Annex School in Seymour, then went on to work as a library aide at Seymour Middle School. She also worked as the Seymour tax collector.
She was the Republican registrar of voters and a member of the Republican Town Committee; she was also a member of the Seymour Library Board of Directors and served a term as board president.
A devout communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish of Naugatuck, she was a Roman Catholic with a special devotion to St. Therese of Lisieux.
She was an avid reader, especially of mysteries and historical fiction, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. She enjoyed travel and art and had a keen interest in American and English history and the British royal family. She loved music, especially Broadway and movie musicals, and enjoyed watching television and old movies.
She loved cats and was comforted in her last years by the companionship of her cat, Grady.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She leaves her son, David W.B. Llewellyn of Rockville, Md, and Greencastle, Pa; two daughters, Mary F. Llewellyn of Seymour and Susan M. Llewellyn of Lake Ridge, Va; two brothers, Edward L. Chapman of Pembroke Pines, Fla, and James W. Chapman of Pittsburgh, Pa, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, February 1, directly at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Rd, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in Mountain Meadows Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St, Route 67, opposite Klarides Village.
