"Marion N. Grey, 83, of Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony, formerly of Portersville, died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 1, 1917, in Tarentum, she was the daughter of Raymond and Estella Hemfield Burtner Mrs. Grey was a homemaker and a member of the Portersville Bible Church. She is survived by a daughter, Marie Coleman of Florence, S. C. two sons, Don Allen of Tennessee and Melvin Messmer of Ross Township; a stepson, Edward Cary of Cranberry Township; three stepdaughters, Alice Bevington of Delmont, Sandy Hart of Allison Park and Donna Towers of West View; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Donald Burtner of Florida and Kenneth Burtner of Portersville; and a sister, Georgeanne Craig of Indiana. Her husband, Relton R. Grey, whom she married May 9, 1953, died April 4, 1984. Two brothers also preceded her in death. GREY - Friends of Marion N. Grey, who died Thursday, March 22, 2001, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME, 219 E. Grandview Avenue, Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Michael Charles will officiate. Burial will follow at English Lutheran Church Cemetery, Zelienople."
