John Hunter Rowley (1868 - 1913)
"OBITUARY John H. Rowley, of Westfall deceased, was born in Union Oregon Sept. 18, 1868, came to Westfall in 1902. / December 21 1896. Mr. Rowley was united with Miss Lydia Stubblefield, three children were born a son and daughter living. / Mother, three sisters and one brother are living In Barber Co. KS.
Mr. Rowley was a respected member of the community in which he lived, an industrious and successful farmer. He was possessed of land in Union and Baker Counties, and had engaged in stock raising for many years. A cousin, Mr. Hunter from LaGrande and a brother-ln-law Mr. Stubblefield from Enterprise Oregon attended the funeral services conducted by Rev. C. E. Helman.
