A quiet wedding occurred at the home of Mrs. Daniel Rowley, in Fabius, N. Y., September 22, 1898, when her eldest daughter, Anna, was united in marriage to Mr. Irving D. Skeele of Summit Station.
At 8:00 o'clock in the evening the happy couple, preceded by Rev. V.S. Britten, who performed the ceremony, entered the parlor in which were seated the wedding guests.
The bride was attired in white. Her dress was white mull trimmed with muslin. In her hair she wore roses and chrysanthemums.
The floral tributes and gifts received gave evidence of the high esteem in which the young couple were held.
After serving the refreshments, the bride and groom left for the evening train at Tully...."
