"Burns Mantle Dies At 75
New York. (UP) - Burns Mantle, 75, one of the best-known American drama critics, died today in Mary Immaculate Hospital (Jamaica, Queens) of Cancer.
Mantle, known as the elder statesman of the theater, had been ill since Christmas day. He was taken to the hospital Saturday morning, and died at 11:45 A.M. today. His home was at 44 Season-good Road, Forest Hills, Queens."

Bertrand H. Rublee, 69, of Ellington, died at 8:15 A.M today in W.C.A. Hospital.
Mr. Rublee was born in Ellington and had been a life long resident of this area. He was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Minnie Rublee; one son, Robert Rublee, Buffalo; three grandchildren, Lawrence, Parke and Charlotte Lynn Rublee, Buffalo.
Arrangements will be announced by the Mattison Funeral Home, Kennedy."

Lance Zavitz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Ellington. Friends may call at the Mattison Funeral Home, Kennedy, until service time."

"Mrs. Minnie R. Rublee
Mrs. Minnie R. Rublee, a former Ellington resident, died Sunday in Buffalo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertrand Rublee, and a son, Robert M. Rublee.
Surviving are a brother, C. Lynn Rowley of Winter Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie M. Hayes, Miami, Fla.; and Mrs. Ernestine R. Milks of Jamestown and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Ellington Congregational Church at 2 P.M. Wednesday. Memorials may be given to the Ellington Library Association or to the Cancer Society of Western New York. The Johnson-Wilkins Funeral Home, 448 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, has charge of arrangements."
