"Ruth Susan Rowley
In Loving Memory... Ruth Susan Rowley passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15th. She was blessed with a long life of 89 years. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Leroy Rowley; son, Jerry Rowley; daughters, Carol Purciel and Marlene Dean; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Ruth was a 25-year volunteer at Valley Presbyterian Hospital, an accomplished artist, and a Presbyterian Church Deacon. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22nd, at St. James Presbyterian Church, 19414 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Saint James Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund in Ruth's name at the above address."

"ROWLEY, Leroy H. (96) Passed away Feb. 12, 2008. Born, July 17, 1911. Grew up on a farm, Elyria, Ohio. Attended Ohio State University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. While attending Ohio State he met and married Ruth Parrot. Worked for 38 years at Chevrolet Division of General Motors. He lived an active life with many interests: family, worldwide travel, golf, bowling, gardening, real estate, antique clock repair and loved the outdoors. Active in the Presbyterian Church, trustee, elder, mariners. Lived in the same house for 60 years. He and Ruth had three children, Jerry, Carol, and Marlene, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial service at St. James Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008. Phone (818) 345-2057. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. James Church will be appreciated."
