"Gordon L. Foster of Nichols
Gordon L. Foster, 74, of W. River Rd., Nichols, passed away unexpectedly Satruday evening, March 20, 2004, at his home. Gordon was born on May 29, 1929 in Fabius, N.Y., a son of the late Eunice (Rowley) and Leonard Foster. He was a graduate of Tully High School. Gordon was employed as a car salesman for over forty-five years with Scoville and Feduke Ford. He enjoyed traveling to Canada, taking photography of wild life and being surrounded by his family and friends. Gordon is survived by his loving and devoted wife, JoAnn (Lant) Foster; his daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Don Rottmann; and special granddaughter, Megan Kenyon; his son, Gordon Kenyon and Kim, Daniel Foster, and Marshall Foster; his brothers and sister-in-law, Glenn and Betty Foster, Vernon, and Joan Rowley, Doris Foster, Jean Foster; a grandson, Adam Foster; his mother-in-law and brothers-in-law, Beverly Monk, Jacqueline Jewett, Betty and Larry Doolittle, Paul and Eileen Lant, Dale Lant. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Eunice Foster; brothers, Gene and Gerald.
A time of remembering the special gift Gordon was to all of us will be held ... with Rev. Jean L. Swett, pastor of the Lounsberry United Methodist Church, officiating...cremating will take place at the Tioga Point Crematory, Athens, Pa. Flowers will be provided...":
