Byron Samuel Galusha (1871 - 1930)


"OBITUARY
Byron Samuel Galusha was born in Carl Co., Ill., Sept. 26, 1871; died at his home in Coy'e May 8 10_0 (sic), age 53 years 8 mo., 13 days.
While yet a boy he moved with his parents to Iowa and two years later to southern Kansas.
He was married to Jennie Roberts Jan. 4, 1904. Immediately following his marriage he moved to Oklahoma, locating on a farm near Perkins. He lived there four years, then moved to Coyle where he lived since, engaging continuously in business. As a business man he was known and respected by all.
He is survived by his wife, his stepson, Clyde Roberts, and his family, Mattie and Byron; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Ford and Louise Dunlap, both of South haven, Kansas, one brother, Perry Galusha, of Ponea city, many other relatives and friends.
Mr. Galusha was a kind and affectionate brothers, a loving husband, a good friend and a splendid citizen whose influences will continue to live."
