"C.W. Bushnell, 73, Hit by Car, Now Wants to Get Back to Work"
Forty years of active practice in Washington does not make for contentment when that activity is brought to an abrupt halt, and Campbell W. Bushnell, 73, Prosser, one of the state's best known attorneys, is counting the days when he can "get to mussing around at my work again."
Mr. Busnhell is at the Hotel Olympian recovering from injuries received when he was struck by an automobile at the corner of Fourth avenue and Washington street Wednesday night. He is the father of Agnes Bushnell, instructor at Olympia high school.
"I moved from Spokane to Prosser to retire but business followed me. I guess it isn't so bad having something to do after all, "the veteran attorney declared. Although he can hardly move his left [foot], and his right foot and body are severely bruised, the pioneer retains his cheerful attitude, apparently his only worry being to get home.
Dr. Oscar Lee is his attending physician.
Mr. Busnhell had come to Olympia on business and was crossing Fourth avenue when he was forced to walk in front of one automobile to avoid being struck by a heavy automobile speeding around the curb, he said. Kenneth McLain, Olympia, driver of the automobile that struck Mr. Bushnell, took him to the hotel, and reported the accident to the police."

"Several November birthdays were celebrated last week in the home of Mrs. Lucy M. Bushnell, 420 Seventeenth Avenue East. Honored were Mr. E.B. Swart of Seattle, Mrs. Bushnell's sister, who was 75 this month; Mrs. Irving D. Albord of Centralia, a cousin, also 75 this month, and Agness Bushnell, daughter of the hostess."
