"MISS HELEN CLAPP

Miss Helen Pauline Clapp, 52, of 18 Bostwick Pl., died Saturday, Apr. 24, 1954, at Bathesda Hospital where she had been a patient for the past six weeks.
She taught school in Big Flats before going to Hornell in 1925. Miss Clapp taught at Lincoln and Bryant school before taking a class at Washington school where she has been retained since.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Jennie Clapp at home; an aunt, and several cousins.
Miss Clapp is well know here in Cohocton where she has visited on many occasions at the home of Mrs. and Mrs. Erwin W. Folts.
Funeral Services were held in Hornell Tuesdat with interment in Leicester cemetery."

Mrs. Jennie Atherton Clapp of 18 Bostwick Pl., Hornell, died Friday morning in Bethasda Hospital, Hornell. She was 81 years old.
Mrs. Clapp was taken ill Thurs., in a doctor's office and taken to the hospital in the early afternoon.
She was born in Leicester and came to Hornell in 1942 to live with her daughter, and the late Miss Pauline Clapp.
Her daughter Pauline Clapp who was well known in Cohocton died only a short time ago."
