"Retired Shoeman's Rites Set Tuesday
Services for Monta G. Rowley, 78, of 617 E. 15th, retired owner of Rowley Shoe Shops, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in United Methodist Church, Mound City, Kan. Burial will be in Battlefield Cemetery, Mound City., He died Sunday.
Born in Fulton, Kan., he came to Wichita in 1953 from El Dorado, Kan. His wife, Myrtle, died in 1970.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Helen Williams, El Dorado, and Mrs. Florence Siskowksi and Mrs. Mary K. Barker, Wichita; two stepsons, Emery and Charles Thompson, Wichita; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Roxie Davis, Arkansas City, Kan., and three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Siron, Fort Scott, Kan., Mrs. Rita Wilson, Blue Mound, Kan. and Mrs. Morna Riggs, Burlington, Kan.
Kirby Funeral Home, El Dorado, has charge."
