"Wedding Vows
Bel Air Presbyterian Church was setting for the marriage of Marlene Ann Rowley daughter of Mr and Mrs. Leroy H. Rowley of Van Nuys and John Charles Dean son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Dean.
For the double-ring rites the bride selected a floor length dress of white silk organza accented with Venise lace. She carried a cascade of gardenias and stephanotis.
Mrs. Larry Purciel was matron of honor and acting as best man for the bridegroom was Enrique Morales. Completing the entourage were Mrs. Michael Crawford, Margie Kinley, Susan Ambrose and Mrs. Larry Hendrickson, bridesmaids; Donald Dean Jr., Joseph Dean, James Dean and Gerald Rowley, ushers.
Ingrid and Irene Rowley were flower girls.
The bride was graduated from UC at Santa Barbara with a teaching credential and is a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Her husband, an alumnus of the same university will receive his masters degree in electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology at Pasadena in June.
Marlene and John are making their home in Pasadena following a coastal wedding trip."
