The announcement of the marriage of William D. Rowley to Miss Mary Alice Walker comes to us from Portsmouth, N.H. The bride was gowned in white crepe de chine with lace trimming and wore a veil. She was attended by Miss Nellie Welch, who wore a gown of white muslin. Sidney Frisbee was best man. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to their residence on North West street, where a reception was held and a lunch served.
Mr. and Mrs. Rowley were the recipients of many useful and beautiful presents including silver, bric-a-brac, cut glass and linen.
Mr. Rowley was formerly of this town and his many friends join in sending congratulations — Bellows Falls Times."

A very pretty home wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Beals, 8 Gage street, yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock, when their daughter, Minnie Belle, was united in marriage to Harry Cuthbert Rowley, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Rowley of 92 Saxtons River Street.
Mrs. W. H. Dudley, sister of the groom, played the wedding march as the bridal party entered the parlor, the ceremony taking place under a bower of evergreens from which was suspended a horseshoe of the same. The officiating clergyman was Rev. C.W. Jackson, pastor of the Baptist church. The bride was attired in a traveling suit of dark blue with hat to match...
Mr. and Mrs. Rowley left in an automobile for the south bound train. After their return they will be at home at 92 Saxtons River street.
Both bride and groom are popular young people, the groom having been in the employ of G.E. Welch and Son for nearly three years. He is also a member of Co. E., V.N.G., being a corporal.
The presents were numerous and useful consisting of silver, bric-a-brac, china, cut glass and linen. — Bellows Falls Times."

"(copied from a Glens Falls paper) Miss Marian C. Strong, daughter of Mrs. Agnes Farlin Strong, became the bride of Elmer B. Rowley at 9:30 this morning (May 12th) in the Presbyterian church. The Rev. Dr. John Lyon Caughey performed the ceremony. Mr. Rowley is a son of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Rowley, 20 Chester Street. The bride was attended by Miss Polly Hayes and the best man was Ralph Rowley a brother of the groom. Cecil Wright, minister of music of the Presbyterian church, played the wedding marches.
The bride's dress was rose beige georgette. She wore a large hat of the same color and carried ophelia roses ... a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride, 25 Grove Ave., after which a small reception took place the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Rowley.
After a two weeks' wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Rowley will reside at 27 William Street, this city. Mr. H. C. Rowley was a former Crown Point boy and Elmer Rowley spent his vacation here a few years ago with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Dudley. Their friends extend congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple."
