"Robbins-Mantel.
Rufus B. Robbins, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Robbins. and Miss Bertha Mantel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mantel, were married by the Rev. George E. Hutchings at the Methodist parish house Wednesday evening, January 28. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mantell. Both young people are Chittenango people and known and liked by a large circle of friends. Mr. Robbins was a member of the American army in France and saw considerable action at Chateau Thierry and other battles. Mr. and Mrs. Robbins will make their home in Chittenango."

Louise Mantel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mantell, and George Brown Bettinger, sou of Mr. and Mrs J. Owen Bettinger, were married by Rev. E. S. Bardwell at the Methodist parsonage Sunday evening. They were attended by Miss Lois Bettinger, sister of the groom, and by Adelbert L_cks. Both young people are former Yates students and popular with the young people of the village. They will make their home with Mr. Bettinger's parents on whose farm the groom is employed."
