"FRANCES KATHERINE BRUCE COBB Cobb, Frances Katherine Bruce Age 93 of Cahaba Heights, AL formerly of St. Petersburg, FL. Went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2012 at her home. She was a long time member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, FL, and a current member of the Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church in Vestavia Hills, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron Stanley Bruce and Ida Stella Nance; sister, Ruth Stella Bruce Klingman; brother, Byron Stanley Bruce Jr. Her surviving relatives include a daughter, Katherine Cobb Phillips (W. Monroe) of Birmingham, AL; sister, Martha Lee Bruce Schoenacher (Joe) of Crystal River, FL; grandchildren, Tara Phillips Shea (Kelly) of Birmingham, AL, Katherine Phillips Llewellyn (Charles) of Birmingham, AL, and Wellington Monroe Phillips III of Orange Beach, AL; great-grandchildren, Everett, Lawrence, and Bo Shea, and Katie, Anna, and Bess Llewellyn. Family would like to say a special thanks to her caregivers, Catherine Green, Josephine Harris, LaShon Kimball, and Geneva Hospice Care. Her celebration service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11AM graveside in the Valhalla Cemetery in Bessemer, AL with Rev. John Riddle officiating."
