"Mrs. Myrtle E. Mantle, aged 76, widow of Merton Mantle, died at 3 a.m. Nov. 3-at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Cring, Harrisville, where she had been living seven months/
The funeral was held Nov. 6, Surviging are a sisters Mrs. Leslie (Ethel) Cooper, Watertown, and a brother, Elmer Geer; Harrisville.
Mrs. Mantle was born at Pitcairn, May 21, 1879, daughter of John and Frances Graves Geer. Feb. 20,1901, she was married to Merton Mantle at Pitcairn. Mr. Mantle died in 1944.
Mrs. Mantle was. a member of Arbutus Rebekah lodge and was a past noble grand. She had for years been active in the Harrisville Methodist Church.
